“The Silence Was Deafening” Print by Mike Parisella (@slimesunday)
Artist Mike Parisella portfolio shows us that he has a knack for creating other-worldy works of art, from what I’m calling brain donut to this wonderful piece, “The Silence was Deafening”.
We see a large planet or celestial body close to the viewer’s planet. It’s creating a tremendous solar eclipse, from what is probably a foreign sun.
The image’s immensity and strong use darkness evoke a seriousness of something foreboding. Probably akin to the apocaplyse-like setting we’ll all experience on the 21st of August.
